Dr Bowers and his staff really care. Ive been a patient for years now. I’ve been to other pain specialists. I have never had the respect and quality of care anywhere else. I would refer everyone here. One visit and you’ll never want to go anywhere else.

My experience visiting Dr Bowers is always good.To star with my pain is always less on my way out..Medicine has a big part on this but also the personal interaction not only with the doctor but also the people in the office,all friendly and attentive to my needs…Thank you all,very appreciated.MW

Dr Bowers knew exactly what my issues were. We discussed various treatments that were possible to help my situation.
I decided to have a lumber epidural shot. Made a two day appointment and it was done very effectively

Dr Bowers, in all my medical visits over the years, listened, asked questions re my medical history, answered all my and my sons questions, talked common sense, did not try to push procedures that were unnecessary, and gave a diagnosis that made sense to me. I have never felt as comfortable with a physicians as with Dr Bowers. I really felt he cared- I would highly recommend him and he never makes you, the patient, uncomfortable-

Every month for the last few years I visit Bellevue Pain and Wellness for my chronic pain medication. I typically schedule my appointments with Dr. Kim. I appreciate that he listens and makes me feel at ease while I describe my pain levels and other concerns that are going on with me. He shows compassion and empathy while he responds to my needs. Whether it's an On-line or in office visit, I leave knowing that my concerns have been addressed and the medication given will help me with my daily functions at work and home. Also, my much needed ability to sleep. I will share the my visits with other staff members has been great as well. Thank you Dr. Kim.

Dr. Bowers (and staff) are great. He is open-minded, a great listener and actually cares about his patients’ suffering. Even though he is from New York (no one is perfect) I highly recommend him. Also, if you have a pain pump as I do, please reach out to him ASAP, since the Seattle area Pain Mgmt. doctors won’t touch that with a 10 foot pole if it is preexisting. I was within a few days of running out of meds and my pump was alarming when he saved the day and took me on as a patient. He is also tolerant of my eccentric personality and sense of humor and has a very sharp sense of humor himself. Instead of crying, laugh through the pain and let him help you. He treats all kinds of patients, in addition to pain pump patients. I have not felt this good since moving here. He is also willing to help you reduce and RX the meds you need. I personally have been able to reduce my medication at his request and I feel just as good. I’ve even been encouraged by this and tried to go lower, but my pain worsens so I am staying on my meds as is at this point. He always asks me if I need more medication, but I currently have another doctor prescribing most of my meds already. However, he was.amenable to taking them over when this doctor retires or stops prescribing them. In other words, you will not face severe judgement and condemnation there, but will instead, work out an agreed to treatment plan that you collaborate with his help. I think this is wonderful and refreshing since it is not the kind of positive experiences I had in Texas and other locations. He understands the vast difference between medication tolerance, abuse, misuse and addiction. Sadly few doctors do. Finally, they are very supportive when my wife came to my appointment with me. Having pain, particularly severe chronic pain, is horrible, but Dr. Bowers has made it easier for me to deal with.
I hope anyone out there who needs a top notch pain doctor takes him into strong consideration and I only wish this was not anonymous, so that I could leave my contact information and answer any questions that I am able to.
There is hope. Please don’t ever give up or give into the thoughts we all go through about whether life is worth living or not. Here you will find that hope and help whether you need a better doctor or a new one!
